To join as a Class A member:
1. Fill out
the membership APPLICATION, have the application signed by a Class A member of Post
245.
2. Supply a
photocopy of your military form DD-214 or Discharge Papers.
3. Supply a
photocopy of your current driver's license or voter registration card.
4. Supply a
$25.00 check for annual dues.
5. Return all
items to:

Membership cards will be mailed
to you following approval of your application at the monthly meeting
of The Post on the third Thursday
of each month except July when there is no meeting.
If you are under age 21, your Post
Home Association card will be marked MINOR.
Auxiliary Membership
Membership is open to female veterans
and to the mothers, wives, sisters, daughters, granddaughters
or great granddaughters of American
Legion members or deceased veterans who served in the
Armed Forces during Word Wars I
and II, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, Granada, Panama,
and/or Lebanon conflicts, and the
Persian Gulf War. See VETERAN eligibility for dates.
To join as an Auxiliary member:
1. Fill out the membership APPLICATION, have the
application signed by a member of Auxiliary Unit 245.
2. Supply a photocopy of the American Legion member's card on which you
are applying or a copy of the
veteran's military form DD-214/Discharge Papers if deceased veteran.
3. Supply a photocopy of your current driver's license or voter registration
card.
4. Supply a $15.00 check for annual dues.
5. Return all items to:

Membership cards will be mailed
to you following approval of your application at the monthly meeting
of The Auxiliary on the fourth
Tuesday of each month, except August when there is no meeting.
If you are under age 21,
your Post Home Association card will be marked MINOR.
S.A.L. Membership
Membership in the S.A.L. is open
to the male descendants, adopted sons and stepsons of members of
The American Legion. Also accepted
are such descendants of veterans who died in service during the eligibility
periods set forth in Article IV,
Section 1, of the National Constitution of The American Legion or who died
subsequent to their honorable discharge
from such service. See VETERAN eligibility
for dates.
To join as an S.A.L member:
1. Fill out the membership APPLICATION, have the
application signed by a member of S.A.L. Squadron 245.
2. Supply a photocopy of the American Legion member's card on which you
are applying or a copy of the
veteran's military form DD-214/Discharge Papers if deceased veteran.
3. Supply a photocopy of your current driver's license or voter registration
card.
4. Supply a $15.00 check for annual dues.
5. Return all items to:

Social Membership
Social membership is available
to male or female applicants, 21 or over, who are not eligible to join as
VETERAN, AUXILIARY, or S.A.L.
To join as a Social member:

application signed by a Class A member of Post 245.
2. Supply a photocopy of your current driver's license or voter registration
card.
3. Supply a $25.00 check for annual dues.
4. Return all items to:
